expanded beyond the Catering Truck business in 1983.
We dove head first into the
Vending Machine Market and purchased a late 60's  early 70's         
model soda machine. It was installed in the "NEW"  Planing             
Mill at the Martel Plant. (thanks Dave).  Brian and Bill                     
learned the lesson of used equipment.  We only purchase "new"       
vending machines these days. This approach works for us and           
our clients because machine down time is minimized.
Next day service is guaranteed. Same day service is typical if             
calls come in before noon.
Brian and Bill do the service and repair.

Brown Bear Enterprises have a few guidelines concerning vending machine placement. They involve "location" or
"
number of employees"..

We do not have any 'outside' vending machines and most likely never will.
A high traffic area would be a location of interest.

Businesses with more than 20 employees could support a soda machine.
Businesses with 30 or more employees might support a soda and snack machine.
>70 employees or more could support a gourmet coffee/cappucino machine.
>100 employees or more might support a refrigerated food machine.

These are flexible guidelines that Brian and Bill use as a starting point for  consideration of equipment placement.
